My first love was ceramics. I started studying it in high school…I was really privileged to have such a good teacher, he let us create our own glazes, mix our own clays, and stay after school and throw on the wheel as long as we wanted. I studied it for a few years in college before switching over to 2D art. This is just a few examples of some of the pieces I created, the majority of my work wasn’t documented before being sold. Studying ceramics really helped to train me to recognize the importance of subtle shapes and forms.
