Stan Meyers developed a vehicle that ran completely off of hydrogen,through a process that involves running a current through water. His vision was to market the product with the overall goal to better mankind and follow gods will. He was bribed as well as harassed to be quiet about his discoveries and studies. He turned down all the offers intended to silence him, and as a result, he was poisoned back in 98. His legend still remains, and the technology is still in use today (by individuals, not corporations of course).

I am currently in the process of converting my car engine to run partially off of hydrogen, and I encourage everyone to take apart of this SIMPLE technology. You don’t have to know much about electronics to be able to build it yourself, and you can always buy one premade online. Do everything you can, every bit will help.

I’m currently experimenting with modifying my car engine to run partially off of hydrogen.  The hydrogen is extracted from water by running a current through it.  It is extremely simple technology, and doesn’t take a strong electronics background to understand it.  I found a great article that describes some of the different designs for it, including some great schematics for things such as an air/fuel ratio monitor, which will help to monitor the changes that need to be made to the engine once the hydrogen input is installed.  The pdf’s have been saved on my del.icio.us and can be viewed here.
